After having tried a car supermarket to look for a new car, I looked for a more personal experience and found that at DEX Automotive. Paul has set up his business to sell quality second hand cars to his customers and I found exactly that with the purchase of a VW Golf, which I am very pleased with. As other reviews have mentioned, Paul is honest and straightforward to deal with.
Note added after purchase: There was an issue with the residual VW warranty when I tried to transfer it to my name, so I contacted Paul who took it upon himself to make further enquiries on my behalf. It turned out there had been an earlier miscommunication regarding the manufacturer's warranty, but Paul made sure the outcome was satisfactory for me. An excellent example of customer service.

Bought a lovely VW Golf from Paul at Dex Automotive. The whole experience was very good from start to finish - Paul was very honest, informative and helpful and communication was great throughout. I never felt pressured at any point. Made the purchase stress free and gave me full confidence that I was buying a decent car at a good price. Overall I am very happy and would highly recommend Dex.

After extensive hunting for our sons first car, being let down by so many untrue adverts and daft sellers wasting our time, we found Dex automotive advertising with a potential fiesta.
Great selection of photos to view along with a video which really helped.
After a very informative phone call we proceeded with a viewing of the car, if you take anything yourself from this review this has to be the part...when a true honest advert is posted & the car is better than you'd have ever hoped for when I arrived to see it and take a test drive everything was brilliant I knew we'd be buying the car.
You can be certain of a good honest company like Dex automotive when considering a vehicle from them.
So professional, so proud and friendly too, easily the best car purchase I have ever made in 30+years of driving.

I recently contacted Dex Automotive to enquire about a car I was interested in and was very impressed with the service I received. I spoke to Paul a number of times and he always answered all of my questions very patiently and honestly and provided all the information I needed to make a decision. He did not pressure me in any way and gave me lots of valuable advise. Although I did not end up buying this particular car as it wasn't right for me I would not hesitate to buy a car from Dex Automotive in the future and would definitely recommend this business to family and friends.

I have not purchased a car from this company (yet) but I did have a test drive with Paul. Paul is such a genuine man, he was honest on what repairs the car had had and showed me receipts and all paperwork. He didn't rush me on my test drive and answered any questions I had, nothing was too much trouble. He even advised me on common faults to look out for should I get the same model of car from another company! Hoping when I do purchase a car, it can be from Paul, as there are not many car salesmen like him around!
